Traditional radiation for breast cancer patients usually involves six weeks of treatment after surgery. Community Health Network in Central Indiana is now offering INTRABEAM radiation to women with early-stage breast cancer. INTRABEAM radiation is a 20- to 30-minute dose of radiation applied directly to the cancerous area during surgery. S.
