David Flockhart, Cancer Research Pioneer

Dr. David Flockhart was a pioneering pharmacogeneticist at the Indiana University School of Medicine who was diagnosed with advanced gliobastoma multiforme, a type of brain cancer. He passed away on November 26, 2015. In 2014 and 2015, Sound Medicine aired a series of interviews with him about his dual role as a researcher and a patient.
